Air quality – monitoring and taking action

We monitor air quality and will act if we notice any problems. Vehicle emissions in towns and villages tend to be the cause of the biggest problems in a rural area like ours.

Information on air quality across the county can be found on the Oxfordshire air quality website.

If you’re a developer and would like more information on our guidance on air quality, you can find more information on our planning pages here.

Taking action in local areas

All current and historic information on air quality across our district and the whole county can be found on the Oxfordshire air quality website.

We have published an air quality action plan that contains details on how the air quality issues in the Vale of White Horse could be tackled.
